Adolescent Support

Navigating the challenges of the teen years can be difficult!   So much work is being done in this critical life stage, often with a variety of outside stresses while coping skills and sense of self are still being developed.   Creative expression is often a natural outlet at this time of life.  This is why the art studio can serve as a safe place for adolescents to explore challenges, express themselves, and receive important guidance, validation and support.  

Recovery from​ Disordered Eating

Art therapy is often used in treatment centers, as it is recognized as a valuable tool in recovery from eating disorders.   Eva has provided art therapy services at multiple levels of care including hospital, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings.   Utilizing art therapy in the recovery process can assist with accessing and expressing emotions, challenging perfectionism, and improving our relationship with ourselves.

​Change in life is a constant and can be difficult to navigate.  Whether it be the beginning or end of a relationship, heading to college, considering a career change, family restructuring, moving, and even changes in our sense of self and identity, we are constantly evolving and adjusting.  Art therapy can be a valuable tool in giving voice and clarity during the many twists and turns of life.  Creativity can  help you access your inner wisdom, build creative navigating skills, and visualize and move toward positive change.

Grief Work

​Everyone's experience with grief is unique.   Art therapy will give you an outlet to honor your losses and attend to your emotions during this important journey. Art provides a container for you to explore and express the deep inner workings of your movement through loss, change, and inevitable growth.

Creative Self Care for
​Anxiety and Depression

The arts are a natural and a healthy way to support  optimal mental health.  Color and images can quickly access emotions that may be difficult to put into rational thought or words.  Working from a right-brained sensory approach, important work can be done in areas of trauma, anxiety, and depression in a safe and supportive environment.

Eva is known as being a dynamic and engaging speaker, and has spoken at workshops, training events, and national conferences.   ​Please contact her directly for further information.  Eva is also available to collaborate with other mental health professionals in their work, and enjoys using the arts with mental health professionals in their personal work of self care.

Due to the nature of Triangle Art Therapy being a small private practice, shadowing and internship positions are not available.

Important Information

Rate is $150.00/ session.  Sessions are 55 minutes.   
In network with some BCBS plans include State Health Plan. 
​For other insurance plans can provide "superbill" for out of network submission to your insurance.
Payment is due at the time of service. 
Cancellations of less than 24 hours result in full cost.
